Unhappy 2006 3.5L v6 Starter motor problem

Hey everyone. I just got my engine back in and everything put back together after a lifter broke and I had to replace the lifter and the camshaft. The engine sounds great! However, there is a high pitched "whirring" sound coming from the starter. I put my finger on it and it burnt the heck out of my finger. I was hoping someone had a picture of the wiring going to the starter, or could describe what it should look like: Number of wires on each terminal, which wires are on which terminal, etc. I'm afraid I wired it wrong, but I cant be sure. If anyone has any other feedback, please share it with me. The way the starter is acting, it sounds like the motor isn't shutting off, causing it to whir and get really hot. Thanks!!
