2005 monte carlo engines

Default 2005 monte carlo engines

I wanted to know if you guys can help me.... I have a 2005 monte carlo 3400. I want to put a stock supercharger from the 3800 on but Im not sure if it would work. Does anyone have any suggestions???

You CAN do it but it costs a bit and it's a pain in the back, I believe ZZPerformance has a kit for it. Your better option is to trade it in for an SS model or do the L67 Swap.

Thinking more about it an even better option would be to just add a turbo. Costs between $3 to $4 grand with the intercooler, is safe with the Heavy Duty transmission that is installed, and will put you to about 12 second 1/4 miles. It is by far the best option for the 3400 series instead of doing the swap, trade in, or upgrade to a supercharger.

The turbo simply rules all and there is no arguement at the horsepower levels we run. The Cartuner kit below only takes about 6 hours to install... 8 if your babying it.
