Default 2002 Monte Carlo 3.4 swap to 3.8 supercharged

I have a 2002 Monte Carlo ls. I am thinking of swapping my 3.4 to a 3.8 supercharged motor from a 97 Buick riviera. Is this possible. How hard of a job would it be? And what other items do i need besides the motor?

Thanks,

Ben

Havent been on here for awhile.

Look for the L67 swap sticky- that will tell you the bulk of what you need. The main difference is you will use a 3800 harness from an 02 monte instead (or any other years that have the identical engine harness). Also, you don't need to worry about the custom axle thing either since you can get a bolt in passenger axle for a 4t65hd (assuming you swap it in too). However, with the Riv not being a wbody, you may have a little more work to do involving little bits like engine mounts and such, but its no big deal.
