I'm looking at buying a 2001 ls with a 3.4 that threw a rod. In my backyard I have a wrecked 1999 camaro with the 3.8 in it. How hard would it be to drop my 3.8 in the monte and go? Can I use harness and pcm from the camaro or will I need to get a new set....any help much appreciated.

 

Since the Camaro is RWD eventhough it's a 3.8, it's not a direct swap at all.

You need the FWD version of the 3.8
