2000 monte will not start

Default 2000 monte will not start
I have a 2000 monte carlo ls and it will not start. It has set for the last 7 months and was not started I have replaced the battery and the starter and still nothing I have power to every other car function but when I try to start it doesn't even click or anything

I'll take a guess... look around the starter for any critter homes/chewed wires?
