Hello this is my first post here great looking site! btw
Some History I am based in England and have a 1979 Monte Carlo fitted with a 4.2 chevy v8 that is currently running but very poorly as the cam is on its way out ,

over the past 6 months I have been rebuilding a Pontiac 350 v8 motor that has come out of a 1978 Cutlass Supreme which I had sitting doing nothing at the time my idea was and to be honest still isto soup this motor up with an after maket cam lifters, rockers etcso far I have had the heads skimmed and given all my messaments to the guy ordering my parts . But now I have been offered a chevy v8 5ltr in excellent runing order!

Question do I keep going with the pontiac and reap the gains of the extra power!
or should I opt for the Chevy motor?as this should just drop in without to much extra mods being needed
