02 Monte Carlo SS P1441 Code?
I recently took my car into the shop to have my check engine light checked out and i got a P1441 code. i googled it and it has something to do with the fuel system. I had a fuel system flush and my fuel filter replaced which seemed to stop problems for a while. Its now getting problems again. It starts ok after a while of it bieng off but other times it will sputter, start, and the rpms will fluctuate and it will eventually just shut off and my wheel will lock. Does anybody know what the problem could be? if it helps at all, the last few times ive filled up my tank when i get in my car to start it, it will sputter and start smoking

EVAP system is a pain. You'll have to check all the hoses for one that is not-connected or maybe dry rotted?
If it's not the hoses the purge solenoid is probably shot and telling the car to open when the PCM isn't telling it to

Ya im gonna take it in the shop sometime soon. I just wanted to go in with some background info and possible problems so they dont fix something that doesnt need to be fixed haha. its really annoying to drive because im afraid itll just shut down on me

Ya but I'm only worried because its shut off on me before while I was driving, luckily both times in parking lots so I kind of wanted to get it fixed before it leaves me at a light. I was recommended a new fuel pump though. Would that help? And how much would that cost me?

When you say it shut off on you.
Were you driving, parked, went into a store, came out to a still warm car and then when you started it wouldn't start? Or it started and the RPMs slowly dropped and it stalled?
I would look into cleaning your MAF and making sure your IAC isn't clogged up with carbon. (Both on the Throttle body, and probably need a security torx 20 bit)
