Mine does it, but just barely before shifting. Slips, RPM's go up and shifts VERY slowly. I'm getting a tune today. With increased shifting pressure hopefully this issue will be solved. Cause i know its generation TONS amount of heat.

There is no "one" cure. It could be multiple things slipping, failing, etc. Could even sometimes be a clogged cat over the transmission.

That's why I give the link to tripleedgeperformance.com. There are fantastic reads that explain every situation and the possible fault.

Not really since most of us are having a problem without any codes being displayed or check engine light coming on. Its basically guestimation on what area u think is causing the problem

i have the same problems tapeworm after 15-20mins of driving, mine also jerks on the downshifts as well. Dealer said my valvebody was failing. Actually got a valve body from TEP but having trouble finding a place to install without costing a fortune since everyone wants to pull the transmission out to install it.

That's why I just dropped a half the miles used transmission in, instead of fixing my old when I had my issues.

Everyone wanted to take it out? fine, do that and put a different one in lol.

but ur going to have the same problem come up eventually?

This sounds like a design flaw in the transmission that GM should pay to fix ;]

That is true, that's why I'm getting a race built transmission from TEP after I put a turbo one

usually if you aren't throwing a code i would check your cat, may be clogged.

also, all transmissions go out eventually, unless you are the first and only owner of your car, you have no idea how it was driven, it could have been neutral dropped all the time it's first 20k miles and then the owner decided to get rid of it before it became a hassle.

just go to tripleedge and read up on some stuff, if your answer isn't there then get a new tranny

well i found a place to replace the valvebody for $300 so i guess i need to break it in and see if it fixes the problem
they did a transmission scan no codes and drop the pan no metal, check engine light never came on for a cat or anything.
