It does look like it's coming along pretty well though. . . eager to see the finished product. Just curious, what did you use to illuminate the led's? Tap the power off the stock trunk light?
thanks man, yea i used the trunk light so it can only come on when the trunk is open

Like i mentioned earlier I screwed up the suede by over-spraying the adhesive, bled through the fabric and left some ugly spots behind
It's not noticeable from a distance but it still bothers me. I could've easily removed the suede and ordered another yard but i just would't be able to wait so i left it as is lol. The bowtie came out good though

Well here's the rest of the pictures of the finished product and installed

Wires ran along with the trunk release wires, i now have wire loom on it like it had originally....

Drilled a hole in the center for the wires to go through....

Bowtie wrapped looking great...

all done and ready to go....

i have to say, im disappointed with how much light output the leds put out
i'll order some cheap hong kong Led strips on eBay later since it can get expensive buying them from autozone :p it's all good for now though.

The trunk has a slight curve to it causing the board to not sit straight so i added extra padding on the back to keep it from rattling and for it sit snug

Monte!

ohhhh yeaaa.....

led's lit up...

you can see the Fugly spots i'm talking about

oh and here's my Rearview camera i installed a few days ago. it's been working great so far! (dang its ugly and dirty under there! lol)
