I wouldn't use that stuff - I'll stick with the blue bar!

any clay will do virtually the same thing as long as its not liquid.

a clay bar can actually brighten the color of the paint, i should have taken a picture of my hood after doing half, it was noticeable enough to where i continued to do the whole car, so much junk in the paint, the bar was nasty.

also, to clay bar a whole car probably only takes 30-45 minutes, well worth it.

Anyone have an opinion on this liquid clay bar?
i just dont trust anything for cars that trys to skip or combine steps ... especially turtle wax ... like that black box for black cars ... uhhh duhhh clear coats are CLEAR !!!!!!!!

who knows though ... it could very well work ... but i know as im sure other people do ... the actual bars of clay with the detail spray work ... try a kit out and if it doesnt work for you then go for something else ...

heres the mothers and the megiaurs kits of amazon

Mothers
Meguiars

im sure there are better kits but ive used the mothers kit which came with two bars on almost 6-7 different cars and can probably get one more out of the last bar before its shot too ... and would immediately go to the store and buy another kit the next time i need to use one

agreed here, ive only done 2 clays to my car, and i was on my 2nd bar, but thats because i dropped the first clay and threw it out, if you take care of the clay they should last everyone about 3-4 cars each, depending on how bad the paint is of course.

I stay away from trees and keep my car clean in the first place. I've never seen a difference with a clay bar... but I've felt a difference, the car is always a little bit smoother. Rubbing compound and polish might do the same thing for you though.
