Default waxing question

Hey all. I just had a quick questions about you guys waxing your pace cars and Dale Jrs and what not. I want to give my car a real good wax, but im also concerned about going over the black stripes on my Dale Jr. Can anyone tell me experiences they got waxing theirs? I would hate to ruin my stripes with it leaving white residue! Thanks!

With the decals on my car I just kinda wax around them. I use a liquid wax - Meguiars NXT 2.0 and apply it with an orbital buffer.

i use a small applicator pad to get in the small spots around decals or around windows

ice products dont leave residue. not sure about the quality of the wax but it is an idea. just to use around the decals

I'd say you can wax them... I wax the black stripes on the white car in my signature... don't make a circular motion on your decals... wipe down the stripes so you're not being rough on those edges. Be gentle.
