Vinyl font help
I am getting my windows tinted this wednesday and the place offered to throw in a dark strip across my front winsheild for free. So I was thinking of going to a local store that makes custom signs and creating my own MONTE CARLO vinyl to go across the front winsheild. I was messing around on photobucket to try and find the right font, but cannot choose which would look best across my windsheild. I've seen other local Montes with the vinyl, but can't find the same font. So which do you guy think would look best in big bold white letters?
If I was you, I would go with either the 5th gen "Monte Carlo" font, or possibly the italicized block lettering like the windshield banner on the pace car and driver editions. I would lean more toward the 5th gen font. Would fit in perfectly.
I think using one of the script fonts from a different gen would look out of place. The block letter font I mentioned is more recognized with the 6th gens, but may be generic enough to work. And it's already available on the net.
My first choice would still be the 5th gen font. But that's just my taste.

The 7th Gen MONTE CARLO is very very close to the 5th gen. Just not so heavy on the line stroke.
If you want to, ask the people that are gong to be doing the vinyl what file format do they use. especially ask if they use .EPS files. I have that file ready to go.
Here is a screen shot of it.

let me know if this will help.

JJ, that is exactly what I'm looking for. I would just prefer it in solid white without the stripe around the oval, just letters. There is a sign shop I was going to go up to tommorow and get a quote, but unless theirs a website with that particular style that would be even better.
Removing the oval is not a problem. Also, the reason its black is for designing purposes. Once the file is sent to the cutter, the plotter doesn't care about the color. All it does is follow the lines and cuts the White vinyl stock.
Ask them if they work with ESP files. I can then email it to you NP.
