tire size question?

Default tire size question?

okk right now on my 18 rims my tire is 235-35 18
and im looking at a new tire to get and its 235-45-18

will it cause a problem with my car beeing a bit lower?
the new tire just looks wider by almosst and inch and a bit taller

you should be fine. if i were you i get 245/45. wider tires look better anyway.

sorry about that i went from 235 35


to 245/40/

The new tires you're looking at are 245/40? Shouldn't be much of a problem other than throwing the speedometer off a little.

I've got 245/45s on my 18s that I run in the summer and the difference in the speedometer is less than 1% I believe.

very nice sir ....i just wanted to make sure i was going to be ok....i tryed one on to see how they look and man i use to like my old tires but these ones look bad *** lol

sucks i cant drive the car because of the mountains of snow we have and no insurance lol.2 more months im hoping ill be driving it

That's where my stock wheels with winter tires that are way too small (like 6% difference) come in, Blizzaks are great in the snow. But then again the insurance deal would prevent me from driving too.
