tire size

Default tire size

hello,i just bought a 1996 monte z34..it has 225/ 60/ 16 tires on it...i have 4 brand new 225/ 50/ 16 tires off my other car which does not run..can i put these on my monte,,,,i went to the tire calculator and it says if i was going 60 i would actually be going 56...4mph diff...i think this should be fine...but some have said different.,,can i put these tires on...thank you very much to all who reply...RCR29

SHOULD WORK FINE, JUST MAKE SURE NO FENDER CONTACT, I WENT FROM 60'S TO 50'S ON 2001

can i ask why going with a smaller series tire would have fender contact over the bigger 60 series tires that didnt
