I bought a roll of the 3m body tape to install mine because they didn't give enough with it stock. As a matter of fact, I didn't use any of the tape it came with because it looked subpar to the 3m. Mine held up well through the whole winter, and we actually had a pretty bad winter too. My car is never garaged either.
As for the fitting issue, I'm not sure what your having a problem with. Have you taken off the stock emblem yet? It just tapes on to the front once you get the emblem off. I just eyeballed mine to get it straight, and it turned out good.

I love the SS emblem in the grille I wanted to do that but couldn't get the badge...long embarassing story...lol Anyway i am not worried about the weather and the 3m tape installed mine with that stuff is used for all kinds of applications with no worries I love the grill an great improvement on an awesome car.

yah there's not much involved with them, all you have to do is take off the emblem, and there's 2 holes behind it where the grill slips into, and then the tape holds the outside edges on
when i put mine on (tony stewart grill) it came with 3m tape on it, but yes i do agree, their 2 sided tape is the best on the market

tony stewart one is only available @ dealer unless you can find one on ebay, i think it was like 170 something cdn when i bought mine, i actually had 2 @ one point and was trying to sell it, but it went fast...
