Default headliner removal

any clues, hints, pointers, warnings to removing the headliner in my 97? any and all help is greatly appreciated

A Torch, good ventilation, and a heat-proof suit would make quick work of it, but of course there's that little problem of ruining the entire car....

it should just be like a whole bunch of plastic christmas tree lookin clips holing it in...just be careful not to break then...you'll probably have to take off all the plastic trim around it first though

thanks wiz d00d.i saw i can buy a pack of 10 of those clips at walmart for like 3.99 so ill go purchase some of those. after this is finished and i get a couple more sections of the dash painted ill be done with the interior except for the seats. its coming together and im stoked bout it

no sir, thats why im doing rinky dink stuff like this, for the next 12 weeks i have to shovel out a extra 1000 a month for the meds to keep the chemo from killing my grandmother plus the special diet from the temporary diabetes ect... so im strapped for cash for a while, so for now at least ill have most of it lookin good

its a good thing that you take care of your grandma like that...i'm really glad that this stuff is free up here in canada...but then we do get taxed a lot more than you guyz do to cover that...but i think its still a better thing...i'm happy with our health system up here

yeah well i try and yeah i wish our health system was the same, so far her hospital bill is in the MILLIONS im like WTF thats ridiculous. who the hell could ever pay for that? and its only gonna get higher cos she still has 12 weeks of chemo left. at least shes on medicare so most of that will be paid. but its pathetic u have to choose between losing your house or losing your life

im for the higer taxes and the better medical also.

to take yours out make sure you get ever clip or light etc... off the ehadliner. and also the trim around the windows will need to come down also.

I want to knwo what your doing !!!!
