painted it last week using a sealer and wetsanding to get rid of the texturing.. i'm happy with the results. debating on if i should paint the black dash around it silver aswell..

 

Looks good. I would keep it the way it is, I like the contrast.

question, what was the process to do that neon light? thats sick

 

the neon light was pretty simple.. its actually 2 smaller glow tubes which are mounted up and under the lip of each opening so it casts a blue glow down on the bumper openings giving it a nice accent @ night,.
3m adhesive tape for the tubes, a beer , some wiring to a toggle on the dash. done

 

where you located that you have km/h guages?

 

i like it. i agree with amy though, the contrast looks nice. any more silver might be overkill.
