Default Paint care..

I would like to detail my new to me 88 s.s., have been told type of stock paint used is laquer based and to be careful of what type of wax
to use or not to use, ( cut wax?), any help would be appreciated, the paint for the year is quite good, but needs some attention.

Use a good carnuba cleaner wax as a base then use the new ceramic wax after next wash.

If you have a bunch of energy get a clay bar (meguires) and clean it up before you wax . It will bring old back too life.
