Default New head lights and cover questions

I want to make my car a little more different by adding head and tail light covers to my 98 monte, but I think my head lights are already not bright enough for me. So if I put them on now (Black/smoke colored GTS ones) will it affect the light produced greatly or will it be fine? I was thinking that I could put some of those new real bright head light bulbs that have a blueish tint to them, but I couldn't remember if they were halogen or Xenon. I found both really cheap or expensive. What brand should I look for my low beams and high beams? 9006 for the lows and 9005 for highs. Thanks and sorry for all the recent questions.

Default RE: New head lights and cover questions

I had the GTS black/smoke headlight covers on my 1991 Z24. They make the car look better. But if you already think your headlights are too dim, they will definitely be too dim once you install the headlight covers. They do cut down on the amount of light. If I were you, I would upgrade your headlight bulbs to some Silverstar Ultras. Then get the headlight covers.
