That could also depend on the place where you live. I know that for Las Vegas, because our water comes out of Lake Mead, it has lots of sediments and minerals in it. For those people that have good experiences with it, you probably have more pure water coming through the hose.

Just my hypothesis.

Our's comes from wells, but I swear we get seepage from Lake Winnebago (Winne-septic) Lots of papermills, farms, and government officials have caused problems with the water. Papermills dumped chemicals, farms had pestiside runoff, and the goverment has used "emergency" powers to bypass the the sewage treatment plant and dump directly into the lake.

Allegedly it is healthy, but I stick with bottled water, soda, and tavern beverages.

Yeah, they say the water out here is safe to drink too...but I'm not taking any chances with that.
