Default lets discuss my monte:)

Where do I begin haha, well I'm buying my best friends 2000 Monte Carlo LS, he recently spun the car out and there is some damage . By some damage I mean I have to replace front bumper and the front absorber, front left fender , drivers side light and tail light, the hood, have to repair back reinforcement bar( if able to fix it, it's only bent a little on one side), and by the looks new brake lines. I'll be posting pics tomorrow after I take them with the sun light.

There is ,175,000 km's on the monte , and I'm hoping to get it fixed soon as well but with my money situation it may take me to start of next summer. From what I'm told its hard to find some parts for it. All I've found so far was parts on carid to order some parts. If anyone has any suggestions please don't hesitate to share with me .

your best bet for the cheapest would be the junk yard. You may even find parts that are the same color as the car itself is.

You could probably go on your local craigslist or kijiji ads and buy a donor car fairly cheap. I have been keeping an eye out as of late for a parts car for mine and have found entire cars with no rust and same color that realistically 5 hundred cash and you can drive it home, strip the parts that you need and then sell the car back to a local scrap yard and probably get a good portion of your initial investment back.

I am trying to find a red and black front seat set at current, but it has to be in leather and heated and power before I will buy lol, I don't want to downgrade. I believe the pace car's came with that option

Rock auto would be another cheap place to buy parts. (everyone seems to keep forgetting about them)
