Default Leather interior

Well when I bought this Monte, it had some interior latexhouse paint on the pass. seat and it's on there pretty good. Someone told me Mineral Spirits but I'm not taking the chance of ruining the color on the leather. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get the paint off without chipping it off with a razor? Thanks!

I've used lighter fluid (the kind you use inacig lighter- not your charcoal grill) to remove stubborn stains from leather. Also, I would think a product like "Goo-Gone" would work fine.As with anything, be sure to test it in an area that doesn't show first.

gasoline works really good but then you have to wait for the gas smell to get out.

only if you don't want to get all light headed :P

and goo gone or something similar would be a good idea. like said above make sure to test it somewhere where you can't see it.

You got the best advice early on. Ronson Lighter Fluid. The stuff is over 90% Naphtha ... which is the same stuff they do Dry Cleaning with. Try the Lighter Fluid. It's the least likely solvent to leave residue or stain the leather.

Wipe some on a place out of sight, first and let it dry ... then, if you are satisfied that it's OK ... go after the paint stains!
