Thanks for the compliments, guys.

Here is a chop I did to show what the steering wheel would look like if I painted it. Keep in mind, this is not a real photo.

I really like the look, but I think I will have to hand paint it instead of spraying it.

Mod Bigg `J, I like the look, but you have to paint the bow-tie : )
I don't know how to take the wheel apart, but if you are close to a GM
body shop ? Drop by &I'm sure they would tell you how to take it apart to paint.
* Maybe a member will read this post & know how ?
I wish my 06 had the gauges like yours. I love that style dash & gauges : )
Thanks for sharing Jason, & please keep the members updated.
Mak'in it your own.......that's what makes a car man, a Monte Carlo Man : )

Yeah,Mickey already posted how to take it apart, but I am not confident enough to try it. Maybe whenI take it in on Thursday for a check up, I'll ask them there.

That's a good idea about the bowtie. I'll do it up and see how it looks.

Thanks, SpaceMan.

the wheel has2 or 3springy clips that go through the steering wheel that you have to pop off from the back, then there's some wires connecting it too

Thanks, man. The steering wheel is not actually done yet, though. That's just a photoshopped image.

I also like this look and it is given me a couple more ideas to paint some stuff

bigg J have you ever thought about painting the Fuse cover panels that are on the sides of the dash this would be an easy one to do and would add a little something to the interior.... sorda

THANK YOU!!!! I have been looking for your car for a while now!! I couldn't remember which member's ride it was!!!! I love what you did with your interior, I was looking for it to show my wife (who deosn't understand why something that is in already good condition needs to be modified) how that whole section looks once painted.

I'm gonna do a chop to see how it would look in silver.
