Hi, I am the new owner of an 05 ss in a purpley blue color! The paint on the car looks fresh, as if it were painted within the past year. Not a SINGLE scratch on the car, besides on the plastic bumper. But, the rocker panels are the same color as the car x.x

I owned two montes before this one heh. an 02 ls and an 03 jg ss. Im the guy who totaled his jg in jan on the LIE. I tried to take pics, after the car was towed but I was quickly told that it was against company policy. Same company wouldnt let me take the JG headrests or JG floormats. Then I see them being sold on CL for 250 for each. Know it was mine cause I had a red stain on the headrest stiching, and a hole in one of the floor mats.

Either way, I want to start making my new 05 resemble the JG. White ghost flames, 24 sticker on pillar, and especially galaxy silver rocker panels.

Aprox how much does a paint job on the rocker panels alone cost? And should I go to my friends dads custom body shop? Or makeo? His dad wont quote the panels without seening them, and taking them off first, But its DEFF going to be more expensive then maeko, or whatever that place is called. I know maeko isnt a great idea for the paint on the metal, as it generally rusts, or bubbles out. But how about on plastics?

And where can I find a ghost flames decal for the front clip? Ive found every other decal besides that one, and the raised 24 on the back pillars.

 

I wouldnt goto makeo or any thing like that take it to a good paint shop the extra money will be worth it, as far as factor jg decals dont even bother there $200 for each pilar decal and $2500 for the flames

 

your best bet for the decals would be going on ebay i just order a decall that would be $400 at the dealership but i got it for $20 on ebay and they look EXACTLY the same as the dealership ones.... cant wait till it get here to post pictures
