haha i dont want your secrets, just the idea haha!

no, that'll look really good. the plastic overflow can is soo nasty looking, especially since its 6 almost 7 years old in my car....all dirty and slimy. i got the moroso can for my intercooler, i think the moroso radiator catch can would look pretty sweet in the back...i think i'd fit. but dont worry, you do it first so then if i dont like how it looks, i can still change my mind lol. besides, unlike you, my beast still needs more power. im not seeing 300+ to the wheels yet like other people i know..

link does not work...i believe in 2004 the rad cap are the screw on type not the push down and twist kind like the older mc. i have to use a oil wrench to loose it that's how hard to turn it. the cap itself and rad filler neck are plastic and i don't even tighten it that much and still have hard time opening the cap.

My radiator cap is the same way. It almost feels like your cross threading it when you put it on, and are tightening it down, but your not. Then taking it off is a royal PITA. I use my hand, and usually its red from twisting so hard on that damn thing trying to get it off!

Gotcha, never knew. Owning a 2000 it takes literally 2 seconds to take the cap off and put it on, that's why I was so confused!!

Yea the Bonne has the old school metal push and turn cap, works just fine...why they had to change it??? who knows.

My "radiator cap" is not even on the radiator, its on the engine, and a hose is going to the radiator.

My guess is it is the "new and improved" version. OSHA approved, WHATEVER! Obviously the changed it to make it harder for someone to take it off, so people don't get burned, cuz God knows that SOME people aren't smart enough to wait until it's cool to take it off. BUT WAIT! What if someone DOES have to take it off hot, NOW they're going to struggle with it, grip it tighter, and runs a risk of getting burned even MORE than before???
New and improved!!! B.S.!
