I must admit, the first thing I missed about my Pontiac when I traded it for the Monte, was the red/orange guage lights. In my pontiac, I had changed all my interior lights to red. Except for the large overhead light in the center of the roof panel, which I was able to switch off.

I'm going to be changing the interior lights to red, as soon as the weather warms up. I would like to change the guage lights, but I've been lead to believe that the lights are actually about 50 or so little surface mount white LED's. Don't know if that's true or not, but I don't feel like ripping my dash apart just to find out.

I like the red, white, and blue effect in that pic in Space's post. That looks cool.

A buddy at work has custom gauages from this place, and you can even switch the colours. Just a switch underneath the steerwheeling that he flicks and they go from blue to red. Well worth the money if you can afford imo.
