I recently bought a used 2006 3.9..I am very satisfied with the purchase thus far. I was just wondering if any one knew where i would be able to get factory leather because against my wishes i bought a car with the cloth interior. The cloth is driving me crazy!!!

 

I actually had the interior of my car switched from cloth to leather seats...I had everything done by the Chevy dealer. So its all genuine GM, and it looks like it came from the factory with leather. If you check out my album, you will see pics with the leather seats. And in the General Monte talk section, there is a Sticky thread of before and after pics. If you go through that thread, there is a before (with cloth seats) and after (with leather seats) that you can look at!

It was $850 (after a lot of negotiating) out the door, with taxes and all that crap, it was close to $1,000.

 

Did they also install the leather??

 

Yep! I went in, made sure the color was correct (same exact color as they put in from the factory) then they ordered the "leather kit" called me up a day later, and I dropped the car off at the dealer. It was ready the very next evening, and looks amazing.
