Makes it much nicer to work on your car...you won't get AS dirty.

You have to think it may help with your underhood temperatures because it won't be another blanket of gunk on your engine parts.

Here is what i do @ work

1st i cover my cai filter and alternatior.
2nd i cover the entire engine bay and hood with degresser (not the flame carpet stuff)
3rd let it sit in a little
4th spray the degresser on the tires and rims
5th pressure wash all the degresser off
6th when all done use a vinyal cleaner or any tire shine and spray the entire motor
7th wash the rest of car
8th dry car and microfiber the plastic

warning you make shock you self with the resluts

I wanna add the fact that you should do this on a WARM engine, not a cold one or a HOT one.

I'm not sure about the newer cars but for the older model it was always a good idea to cover the coils to avoid having your car not start up after cleaning it. The coils can be clean later!

I never had a problem with the coil packs, or anything by spraying it with water.

Only thing I covered was my CAI obviously.

Back in the 90's I had a 79 formula and every time I cleaned the engine, and the coil got wet, it wouldn't start. Blacksheep, you ready for the game tomorrow? I'm a Philly fan, lived there for years!
