Using:
Superclean degreaser to prep surfaces.
Mothers Back-to-Black for trim
Eagle 1 wadding polish. Best **** on earth!!!

In one pic you can see the black tar that is gunked up in the corners. Shock towers are COVERED. wadding polish seems to effortlessly pull the tar away<3
No water used, water wash will be when I have off ):

Cant wait to see the after pics. I did my father in laws truck and forgot to take before pics. It is a lot of work when it hasn't been kept up. Also I have some of that wadding polish. I used it on my rims, worked great.

Going to do a water wash soon, Got most of the visible tar off. Those shock towers are beautiful!

Looking good so far. I've used bug and tar remover on parts of my Monte when I first bought it as the door jams where the hinges are were COVERED in black gunk (I thought it was dirt, but it was some type of grease).

Lookin' good Jennifer!

Just an FYI - The plastic strip at the base of the valve cover shown in this picture is what was removed in an engine fire recall because it would accumulate oil and drip it onto the exhaust manifold. You may want to consider removing it.

I remember that recall. I never looked at what the replacement parts looked like. Wonder it it's any better then the mod I had to make when I switched to aluminum f-body valve covers...

so it took them that long to realize it causes fires? lol, both my 93 bonneville and regal had those wire holders. I hated them anyway, the wires never sit back the same way..
