Default door moldings

I just purchased a new 2006 black SS monte. I have a 2002 monte which came with door moldings. I am not sure how the molding would look on the 2006. Can anyone send me a picture?

GM no longer sells moldings for a 06 or 07. Does anyone know where I can purchase door moldings?

Thanks!

I got moldings for my 06 from a vendor called Sportwing. They come painted to match the car color with instructions, prep pads, and activator adhesive.I ordered them online, they arrived in a few days, and matched perfectly.Cost was around $155 with shipping.

I will be posting pictures of my Monte Carlo as soon as we get a day above freezing here in PA so I can clean it up.It hasn't gone above 20 degrees F for a week!!!! I can describe the car a bit for now........... It is a 2006 SS,laser blue with silver ground effects, ebony leather interior, optional polished aluminum wheels, sunroof, every other factory option except 8 speaker sound and side airbags.I added the body side moldings,Monte Carlo floormats, and GM accessory door sill plates with the bowtie.I bought it new last February and it now has 8800 miles.I only live 15 miles from work, and we usually drive my wife's car for everything else.

If anyone has seen the "Clear Car Bras" they sell you can get the exact same material for your car, and put it in the location as the molding. I think it's called 3M's Scotchcal. Go to a autobody shop that does a lot of trucks, it's the stuff they put on the underside of the fenders to keep the paint from chipping due to rocks. It's kind of like the skin on a golfball, except clear, so it's very low-profile. I used it on my old cars, and plan to put it on the latest Monte. Works real well, and wards off those dreaded door dings. Any dents that get through the scotch cal would be real easy to take out and it's virtually scratch-proof.
