Question Detailing question

As you all know I am going to the Monte carlo Nats next week.

I am cleaning the deuce's under carrage and finding NO rust (the deuce has never been out in snow)

Do I just clean it up and let the judges see her original fine condition underneath?

Do I paint the under carrage with that black ruberized paint?

Tads,

Take a look at this product, it is an undercarriage cleaner that should take you back to showroom condition. I use it on my RzR after a trip through the woods and it cleans it perfectly.

Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray Dressing

Good luck at the show, I am sure you are ready,
Ron

Unless you enter your car in the Gold Class they will not judge you on the undercarriage - only in a tie in the class that you are entered will they look at the undercarriage. I would just leave your undercarriage stock - that's what I'm doing with mine. My 03 also doesn't have any rust on it thank goodness and I drove it the first 2.5 years in the winter. I just got mine up on the lift and cleaned it really good. I also show my car with mirrors to show how clean the undercarriage is.

I would skip the undercoating since you don't drive in snow. Just scrub it up real good and then just touch it up when you get there.
