Well unfortunately due to some family troubles I wasn't able to get anything done, but I did manage to get all the supplies. HOPEFULLY I can work on it this weekend but we'll just have to wait and see.

According to a how-to made by retired moderator Mickey. Some of the 6th gen interior pieces have a coating on them also. He said he had to sand off the coating before he painted his dash pieces.

Yea its a very thin film. Im pretty sure you can just soak the part with some paint thinner and then rub it off.

Had wondered about those wheels that were discussed for removing the adhesive left from decals. Mine has it and much like the steering wheel buttons it's starting to wear off, seemed like too much work toremove it for painting so I'm living with it... Hows that for apathy? :-P

I believe member Wil MontySS (i think) had painted the interior.
I don't recall if he posted pictures though, unfortunately.

I started to but the dash fill was sooooooooo baked by the Arizona sun that it began to snap and break apart. I got another one and I'm waiting for the temp to go up to at least 60 before I start painting again. I'll be doing my doors too. I'll post pics when I'm done.
