First weekend I'm back home that it's nice out that will be what I'm doing, cleaning everything out and makin' the Monte nice and shiny, it's just too bad it'll get all dusty as soon as I leave the house.

Winter wasnt too bad this yearbut I definately need to do some cleaning on the monte. Claybar, andwax to the outside. I might glaze it to really bring out the shine but that all depends on how it looks after the claybar. At least the monte isnt black or any other dark color so I can hide some of the imperfections.

Last week sunday I took care of my baby. Spent 9 hours on her.

Started out with a a quick wash, then onto a Clay bar. Than I moved onto meguiars step one. Once I finished that, moved onto step two. Removed that coat, and finished off with NXT gen tech wax from megauirs.
After detailing the outside, moved into the inside. Vacumed, carpet cleaned, removed most of the stains. Nxt gen dash cleaner to clean up my dash, and hopefully keep it clean. Cleaned the windows with stoner invisible glass. Finished it off with febreeze to make it smell good.
12 Microfiber towels, 3 terry cloth towels, 14 q-tips later and my baby is clean. Now no food or drink within my baby. And next week I clean under the hood.
only downside to all of this, is the weather forcast coming up for alberta is snow, snow and more snow.
P.S. I found out its illegal to wash my car with soap and water in my driveway. A $3000 fine can be issued. Luckily it wasn't issued, haha

WoW~> Bradley, That's a steep fine [:@]
Is there a water shortage, or is it because of the chemicals ?
Has anyone been fined that amount ? : (
I would sure lose a lot of p/t money `if I couldn't wash
people's cars in the driveway.
We had temp restrictions when we had dry/drought conditions,
that people were not permitted to wash their cars, but
then we got a lot of storms & the restriction was lifted.
$3 K is really a big fine 4-Sure : (
Post some pic's of your detailed Monte Carlo.
Be Careful when wash'in your Monte in your driveway.
Wish you good weather, & good Luck,

The sewer drains go straight into a river(called the Bow river, which connects to another called the elbow river). And the water doesn't get cleaned until past the city limits. So they don't any contaminents in the river. I want to take pictures but of course it rained and now my baby is dirty and no time to wash it. stupid muddy roads. That and its suppose to be below freezing starting friday, with snow all next week.

Has anyone heard of Lucas oil products? Well i found out that they have a car polish as well. I have seen what it can do and your car looks like it is wet with this. http://www.buylucasoil.com/catalog.asp?id=171
