Anyone got any advice as to getting rid of or toning down the apearence of rust on my crome wheels? I took off my stock wheels this winter because the car sat to low and I shatteredthe front facia of my Razzi kit. Any help guys?

I don't knwo from experience, but you might try the acid they talke about in this thread: https://montecarloforum.com/m_86753/tm.htm

I just picked up Eagle One Wheel Polish and polished my chrome. First time I've polished wheels by hand, and the polish is nto too bad. It definitely worked, but either it's not the showroom shine I was expecting or my expectations are too high (many people will tell you the latter). Anyway, I did notice some oxidation/rust spots that it definitely took off. They were really small though and barely noticeable anyway. I went for thsi stuff b/c of the "nanotechnology" meaning the polish is small enough to get into almost every crack and pore of the wheel.

The guy there also showed me some type of all metal cleaner that was a wadding (green jar). He demonstrated it on the shopping cart he was using to restock the shelves and it looked liek with some elbow grease it might be able to get some rust off.

I'm sure none of this stuff is the best b/c it is $4 at Advnace Auto Parts, but I thought I'd throw some ideas your way.

theres a product called "neva-dull" all the parts stores have it. it takes a helluva lot of elbow grease but it'll tone down the rust appearance by tons. the grill on my truck sat in the junkyard for like 4years. i used nevadull on it and it looks like new money
