DA Polishers are something about anyone can do, there almost risk free LOL. Its just a matter of how effective you can make it

To try getting imperfections out of glass you can try these kits...

This kits are better than the DP Kits..

I can help you look for some DA polishers if you would be interested in one and some compounds and polishes to use with it.[/quote]

Thanks for the advice - I actually have a new orbital buffer which I'll try soon. I didn't realize the buffers got deeper than by hand - I'll try it this spring, with Meguiar's Cleaner Wax.

Its more that they have POWER LOL, they just spin fast (kinda compared to rotary) and using cutting pads is what makes them work. I would look into useing megs ultimate compound and swirlX, to start with, but ther is much better products out there too its just that they will be more expensive.

Also Meguairs has new products out specifically for the DA and ive herd great things about it. Meguiars DA Microfiber Correction System, paint polishing system, car polish, car detailing system, compounding system, remove scratches

I have pretty good results with a vinegar/water mixture and newspaper. Its messy, but it works well.

That's what I use...I've spent hundreds of dollars over the years on glass cleaning supplies, and vinegar/water & newspapers are the only thing that works. On smears that don't come off the first time, I use 0000 steel wool and vinegar/water. The wierdest thing I've noticed is that sometimes paper towels fresh out of the package leave a film behind - they must be treated with something.
