Default Another rally stripe thread...

I've searched the web over and found nothing. So maybe one of ya'll could help.

I want to put rally stripes on my black 06 LS. The only problem is that I want a very particular color. Metallic orange. Anybody ever see this color anywhere? If you have, please point me in the right direction!

you can cheat. fidn astyle that you like of the rally stripe.
Take a photo of it or a image of some sort that shows it as good as you can get it to .

Then go to a local vinl graphics shop in your area and pick out a color and have them cut them out for you.

This is how i did the monte carlo banner on my car when i did it.

then i seen like 500.pepole put it on thier car after i put a photo up on the web, The nice parts is none of them are like mine for sure :-)

Check http://www.signwarehouse.com/shop/me...Code=VAVMM2410
Copper and Bronze seem to be close, and cheaper than the following link.

Fire opal might be a bit dark for you, but it is definitely a beautiful color. The prices on these pages are for a 24" wide roll that is 10 yards, or 30 feet long. Should be plenty for one car, as long as the stripes arent wider than a foot each. If they are, you'd be cutting it close, but it'd still be possible. It's 130$ shipped for the fire opal, like 100$ shipped for the bronze or copper from the first link. I have an account through this place, as I'm soon going to be doing stripes on my car.

Let me know what you think!

I have the auto trim design kit on my car and it was perfect fit no problems. If you call them you can get a better price than whats on there website. I had a vinyl shop put the kit on but he said it was one of the nicest precut kits he had ever done. Hope this helps.

Flynhgh, thanks for the link! The metallic copper is beautiful, but sadly not orange enough. Very close though.

Red06, I like the tangerine orange from your link. If it were metallic it would be perfect. Right now, that's the one I'm leaning towards.

Oh, and the reason for the metallic orange? I'm doingmy own Tony Stewarttribute car because I can't afford the sig model!
