Default painted wheels?

Anyone ever painted they're factory 5 spokes black? i searched and found people that were tossing around the idea but never any finish products

alittle photoshop i was messing around with on what i wanna do for my car by spring

Now

Later

Also toying around with getting some blacksolid race stripes or/and a thin silver line seperating the blue and black "skirt".
I am looking at getting the black headlights but not sure how much they will take down the amount of light output.

Not a big fan of the black rims with the blue car. Maybe if your car was black or silver, but not blue

Hi `Jay,
I like the factory rims...Not a big fan of Black painted rims.
I would do what makes you happy.
Black Rims to me looks like the rim is covered in Brake Dust.
When I had my Superior Blue LT I was going to
just trim the rim's in Superior Blue to match the car,
but after I researched, I didn't want to ruin the look, since
I didn't have the experience to do a good job.
Let us know what you decide `ok.
Good Luck/`Space

I had the chanc eot get black wheels for mine. but after having them put the testors on it it didnt look right at all.

If you are serious on this you can go to Duplicolor and they actually have a wheel paint that is made for this. and i belive it has a clear coaat with it.

But honestly have you though tof going the other way? and go CHROME

I'm with 06MCLTZ and Space. The black rims with your blue car don't really go that well.
I'd go with a more complimentary color like white, or even with some chrome rims.

Something else you may want to consider painting highlights on your factory rims exact color match to your car's blue. Kinda like the black highlights in the Dale Jr. wheels, but make them blue to match your car. Just a thought.

Here's your car with the blue highlighted wheels. They came out a little darker than I expected, but if you did it in real life, get the paint to match your car.
