I think the biggest problem is that you haven't actually put them on yet. Once they are completely stuck on and perfect they will look 10x better. Right now the edges sit off it funny and such.
But I did see that one blue SS on here with the roof rails matching and it looked sharp. Since then I've been hunting for a cheap set.

no the roof rails are not on the car yet i only lay them on top and took pic of it to see how they would look on the monte. probably over the weekend i'll install them. awesomess, i'll be using plastic epoxy to install them. the guy i bought the first set told me to use that method cause it holds very well. double side tape will loose it's hold in the long run. the original seal in the channel of the roof need to come off first before installing the rail.

I knew they weren't on, I was just saying that to the people who didn't think they looked right. That they weren't on yet and when they do get installed they look f'ing sweet.
and that 2nd set.... for your dad or for sale? :P

That's really what they were made for, the GTP Daytona Special Edition that came out in 2000 (I owned one) like the one in the link posted below

Darn, I kinda wish I still had that one! And the 2002 40th anniversary one.
