no the roof rails are not on the car yet i only lay them on top and took pic of it to see how they would look on the monte. probably over the weekend i'll install them. awesomess, i'll be using plastic epoxy to install them. the guy i bought the first set told me to use that method cause it holds very well. double side tape will loose it's hold in the long run. the original seal in the channel of the roof need to come off first before installing the rail.

I knew they weren't on, I was just saying that to the people who didn't think they looked right. That they weren't on yet and when they do get installed they look f'ing sweet.

and that 2nd set.... for your dad or for sale? :P

yeah for my father, he was making a comment on how good it would look on the gtp...lol. i figured when he retire he'll give me the gtp that's what he told me anyway. i might as well mod it up little bit and when the time come it would be my car

That's really what they were made for, the GTP Daytona Special Edition that came out in 2000 (I owned one) like the one in the link posted below

They're metal right? I've got some fiberglass showing up next week and plan on playing around with it, maybe I'll look into making a few fiberglass sets if I can get them mirrored just right.
