GM just sent me an extended warranty offer that cost somewhere around 1300 to 1800 dollars for 3 years 50000mi. Ive owned several GM vehicles and havnt had any issues until I got to 100000mi. It seems like it would be a good idea because I was reading consumer reports and they claimed the 06' Monte's were one of the worst vehicles to buy. On the other hand I dont remember seeing the same thing for the Impalas. Arn't they the same vehicle? On the other hand I dont see in the future that the Monte will give me problems in the future. It has 33000mi, I think ill pass and take my chances. If my tranny goes Ill just choke up the 2 grand. Any feedback?
