Default cleaning the supercharger?

alright guys, got my SS m90 kit in today and im looking to clean it up so i dont have to after its installed. Its slightly dirty, but nothing that wont wipe off. Im looking to use something to make the aluminum look "new", any ideas? could i use engine degreaser? looking to clean the m90 and also the snout. after i clean it i might paint the m90 black, so any suggestions on how to or what method you used would be great. thinking about painted the snout red instead of leaving it gray like it came.

everything will be installed on monday!
Naturally aspirated = no more!

is the old supercharged oil still in the snout? if so i dump out the old oil and put fresh one in. the oil will stink like hell, but you can handle it. take it to the car wash and hose down the blower after spraying it down with engine degreaser. i don't know the condition of the blower, but this would be a good time to check worn coupler or snout seal and replace them if need to. when i painted mine i use heat cause it make the paint stick better and not peeling off. heat up section at a time and spray on your choice of color. i wouldn't paint the snout red cause that would look dumb. i like black cause it show less dirt. spray couple coats of dupli hi temp paint and finish it off with clear coat paint.

Well, after much thought and little time to get it done (even though im on vacation) i decided to just degrease the blower and leave the snout gray. i may change it later, but for now this will work. it gets installed tomorrow morning, im gonna photo document before and after shots, see how that goes.

yep, decided last minute to change the color. my install guy had to still rip apart the engine, so he gave me a few cans of VHT and i went to work. my install guys are soo cool. they dont mind the company like most mechanics, they really let you get involved with the work they are doing on your car.
anyways my other thread has a link to the pictures and whatnot, you can also find them in my album! thanks guys!
