Ha, well isn't that a kicker. Guess the good side is you have a lot of clean parts. Remind me to never buy gas from that station.... Happy you have apparently found a solution and solved this enigma. Good Job!!

On random misfires, you should suspect fueling to be a first issue.

So it could have just been a tank of bad gas.

Bad gas can do that; I filled my hot rod with the ethanol blend one fall, parked the car over the winter and the next summer it ran like crap until I pumped the gas out and got fresh stuff...
