View Full Version : Trouble 85_Monte_SC 03-11-2005, 05:07 AM I am having trouble posting pics I am following the instructions but still no pics Boost 03-11-2005, 09:22 AM you have to use BBcode. is basically linking a pic off your site and showing it on the form. if u want a pic like this: http://pamontecarloclub.net/HaroldBanner.gif Right Click on the Pic u want to use, and click "COPY IMAGE LOCATION". then use the tags "" and "" or click the image button above and those tags will come up automatically. Then just paste the pics link into the the middle of the tags like this your pic link here then when u post the message, your pics should show up. YAHOO PHOTOS WILL NOT ALLOW PHOTO LINKING!!! If you have no place to host your image, email me the pic to Boost762@comcast.net and i will put it up on my site. montejass 03-11-2005, 11:27 AM Another cool free hosting site that I use is: www.imageshack.us Boost is right, Yahoo sucks...... TVW benhillzone3 03-11-2005, 11:38 AM I am interested in placing picks of my 04 ls mc so how does imageshack works? i have been trying to post pics since i got on the forum but could never figure out how montejass 03-11-2005, 11:58 AM Image Shack is fairly easy, Go to the site, hit the "Browse" button, select the file you want to upload for hosting, once the file directory shows up in the box next to the browse button click the button "Host It". If all went well it should take you to another page with a thumbnail of the pick with multiple links. I would suggest keeping a record of all the links in a word doc just so you have them for future use. To post an image, select "image" from the new message box, copy and past the link between the ] &[ symbols: Example: "post your link here" There are some draw back to Image Shack, size limitation to 1024KB and the file formats must be one of the following: JPG, JPEG, GIF, BMP, TIFF, TIF or SWF. If you need to re-size a pic drag it into paint, right click on the pic and select "Stretch/Skew.
