What you mean chibi? What does that tell in detail?

Treadwear is the rate in which the tire wears down. Determines how hard the rubber is.

Typically for performance and cornering and traction, you want a softer compound, if you just want MPGs and longevity, you want a harder tire. The higher the treadwear number, the harder the tire.

(in a very simplified explanation)

Awsome, is there anyway to tell this by reviewing the tire itself? Obviously every tire we see is hard, and only way to tell how hard it is compared to another tire is to put them against each other and feel them lol, but like any number on a tire selects this or no?

Also when my mom had hard tires, they were so loud lol.

Look at the UTQG rating

Both of those are pretty high Treadwear ratings. They are "long-lasting" high mileage warrantied tires.

Here's a strictly performance tire, with a low Treadwear rating, but extra high traction and temperature rating
