I was just wondering if 9" depth is too deep without altering the wheel well, or would I have to get 8.5"

 

a reputable rim shop would not let you put that size on ur car it would cause too many problems. those would be too wide. the biggest that would fit somewhat comfortably is and 8.5 but 22x8 is the way to go they sit flush with the car.
