Default Wheels For Snow Tires

Hi,
1998 Monte Carlo w/3.1L (205/70-15 tires)
I am planning to install snow tires on this car for the first time.
Currently have 15X7 American Racing wheels. They were on the car when I bought it 4yr ago. Look great, but obviously not original.
Having extra wheels for snow tires would be great.
Found a set of 4 wheels on craigslist, nearly new, great price.
They are 15X6 steel wheels stamped GM & 115mm. No idea what they were on.
The AR's are 5.25 backspace.
Called the guy (50mi away) says the steel wheels are about 5.5" backspace.
Will these steel wheels fit? I kinda think they may be the standard stock 6" wheels and maybe slip right on. (Wish I had them here to try) Or maybe work with wheel spacers?
Also, there is a sticker inside my trunk which I assume lists all the original 3 letter code options or equipment that came on the car. Would this show the factory wheel size? What code should I look for the wheels?
Umm, about all for now.
Thanks, SteveS

Hey thanks Space.
They look just like that lower steel wheel.
I've seen plenty of listings on ebay for the same thing; but the backspace is never listed.
I was reading another post that some GM wheels for other makes such as Pontiac would not fit my MC. Soooo, would all wheels that look exactlly like these be exactlly the same & fit my MC?
I guess the only way to know for sure is to try them on my car.....

Edit - 3 min later:

Thanks tps221. I should be OK with them then.
Nice wheelcovers! Just what I was planning.

SteveS
