4th Gen ('81-'88): What tire size?

What tire size?
I have a set of 15x8 rims for my 1981 Monte Carlo and I am wondering what size tire to run on them. I currently have 215/65R15 on stock 85 SS wheels and they just don't look right as if they should have more rubber. What would you guys recommend? I'm looking for something along this look with a BFG Radial T/A...

If the Monte in the Picture is yours (Pretty cool looking by the way) I don't see what you mean by its "Looks" If your looking for a wider looking tire...
Mickey Thompson use to make an Indy 60 series tire... You want a wider looking tire... That would be the ticket... Back in the day..Those are pretty much what everyone used... follow by some 70 series in the front...
But you also cant beat the BFG T/A's and Cragars you have on it now!
Me personally...
I like it like it is.

Sorry for the confusion. The car pictured above is not my car. (stolen from Google.) Below is a picture of my car as it sits now with the rims I have bought in the picture below that. I am trying to determine what size tire to run to get the similar results as the car I had pictured above. Obviously I know that I will not get that ride height without tampering with the suspension...that will come with time. For now just looking for the tire size. Thanks!

Ok I see what your talking about now....
Me personally....
I would go with some BFGoodrich Radial T/A's
(White lettering out of course...
60 series in the rear and 70 series on the front!
There a bit pricey... But totally worth it!
You will not be disappointed with the stance or the appearance overall!
