I need someone who actually has these cars or is 100 percent sure because im going to buy one and I have quite a few rims in the garage ranging from 4.5x5 bolt (114.3x5) to 5x112 I cant remember if the car is a 77 or 76 since there the same looking cars I havent bought this car yet but I will if the rims can fit on it and I been asking around many are saying old chevys are 4.75x5 and some are saying this monte is 4.5x5...I live in ny(which is freezing by the way)I dont want to spend all day trying on the rims and none of them fit so what is the bolt pattern for a 76to 77 monte carlo with a 350 !

There's an Old School Saying that might apply. "When in doubt ... Tighten Inside-Out" Do the Middle Bolts and work your way out to either-side of the Head ... alternating the sides, working in a X-pattern, ... so that you apply equal torque to the Head as you work from the middle ... out.

ORIGINAL: wheelguy

x2, 95% of all GM rear wheel drive cars have the 5x4.75 bolt pattern. The only exceptions that you may find are on pre-'73 cars and police cars, maybe a few others.
