Hopefully I won't have aproblemI just got my car back from the shop and they put stiffer springs on and it's a good thing cause my rims just came in and the tires are 255/30/22 so far all i've done is put one up to the side of the car and it seems ok but i'm going to put one or all of them on tomorrow just to make sure depending on the weather.

Every monte i've seen on 22'sespecially alot of them on car domain have 255/30/22 and i'm not sure what they did but I put them on and i'm rubbing slightly. The top of the tire is rubbing against the edge of the cup that holds up the spring.I went back to my friends shop and he told me he could cut a piece of it out and smooth it out so it would no longer rub.But I don't want to do any cutting on my car.So i'm going to take it to this place by my job that a couple of guys have recommended to me that lifts new body monte carlo's for 22's or 24's and see how much there talking.

I would have put the right sized tires on her. The "Lift Kit" could compromise the Steering and Handling. If it didn't and the car don't Pull left or right and brakes in a straight line. You'll be OK.

If the ***-end wanders and the steering is all loosey-goosey ... go back to Square One and get tires that won't need the lift kit!

my 20s rub but i just choose to go slower around the bumpier roads. you gotta sacrifice some ride quality for a bigger rim
