2001 SS: I currently have P225 60/16's all the way around. What if I want a lower profile tire? Is there an alternative I can get and still mount on a 16" rim? Thanks for any advice.

 

Keep in mind the smaller the profile of the tire the more wheel gap you will see between the tire and fender.

 

This is why people get 18" wheels, then a smaller profile tire with it for the look and still don't create a lot of wheel gap

 

You want the overall size of the tire to stay the same, I also recommend going up in rim size to go lower in sidewall.
